A number of downgrades hit homebuilding sector

Keep an eye on the homebuilding sector today amid a number of downgrades from two separate sell-side teams.

KB Home (KBH) suffers a two-notch downgrade to Underperform from Bank of America, which also cuts Meritage Homes (MTH) to Underperform.

Citi, meanwhile, removes Buy ratings at D.R. Horton (DHI), New Home Company (NWHM), and Taylor Morrison (TMHC).

D.R Horton reported a 30% cancelation rate last time on top of the 24% previous quarter. Hovnanian just reported a 43% decline in yr over yr net orders in California and insiders have been selling loads of home builder stocks. Think they know something?

Whenever an analyst takes a stock off their buy list, it's a green flag, time to buy.
They are notoriously bad market timers and the only time they are right is by accident

I'm thinking this is a big deal.If housing and housing stocks should go into decline,it would mean, all the Fed's fiat creation and attempt to reinflate the housing balloon, was a failure and the Fed is useless,to bailout the economy.
