The menu and food must get better.,consumers are expecting a higher quality of "burgers" than greasy BigMac. They are executing well on breakfast with McCaffe but lunch and dinner offerings are sub par. Look for further slide for at least 6 months till new / better menu items are introduced.

IMHO, the menu is overwhelming for fast food, if you don't pull-in knowing your order already.

McDonalds has raised prices and refused to change for decades. Yes, I like the pickle in the cheeseburger and the fries, but really, they are uncompetitive against other burger chains and not worth going to. McDonalds reminds me of A&W or Dairy Queen before they died a few years later. Their size will make the slide slow, but apparent.

No kid I know says McDonalds over 5 Guys, Smashburger, In and Out, the Habit, Wendy's, or the other better tasting, bigger, or more affordable burger chains these days (White Castle). Your investment money is better spent on executives that don't talk about their real estate value and talk turkey, or burger in this case.

My boys hate White Castle, and only one of them appreciates 5 Guys or Smashburger. They would both rather go to McDonalds than anyplace else, but with the following important caveat: Neither one of them wants anything to do with the hamburgers. They go for the chicken nuggets and fries every single time.

Smaller kids love McDos playgrounds, though. And same goes for parents as well, small rest is appreciated even if food is not that good.

MCD is going down, just like KO, PEPSI, tobacco companies. Information spread fast these days, but the fall is going to be very slow, remember we have been indoctrinated by these companies.

McDonald's isn't crashing, they just have to retool their merchandise. This will take some time to do. The world is becoming more health concise.
