We want less public random mass shootings... but we don't pay for brain illnesses.

Why are so-called mental illnesses (which are physical illnesses) still getting discrimination in this day & age?

Science has proven with studies, they aren't "the mother's fault" and are physical illnesses. Alzheimer's is similar, a brain illness, but it's considered physical.

In almost all of the mass shootings, the shooter's been identified as needing mental health care & having serious mental health issues long before the shooting, but they've slipped through the cracks. If we as society stop shaming on mental health issues, maybe more of them will wind up getting care, before they kill innocent people.
