Stocks set for small opening bounce


Stock index futures are marginally in the green following yesterday's big slide. Taking the biggest hit globally in response was the Nikkei, which tumbled 3.3% overnight. Shanghai fell 0.75%.

Europe is off moderately, the Stoxx 50 lower by 0.6%.

After a big decline yesterday, Treasury yields are steady in morning action at 2.66%. Gold is flat at $1,371.
