General Motors gets a lift from Citi note on recall impact


A new note from Citi suggests General Motors (GM) will bounce back from the high-profile recall that has dominated automobile industry headlines over the last two weeks due to the late nature of the disclosure on the ignition switch issue.

The investment firm compares it to other major auto recalls in forecasting the long-term impact.

    Let us see what has Citi + GM in common?
    Did they both get tax payer bailouts?

     

    Does Citi or any of its affiliates do business with GM?
    Would a full disclosure be fair to all concerned?
