Viacom settles with Google, tips further collaboration

Viacom (VIA, VIAB) has settled a case with Google over copyright violations at YouTube.

Financial settlement terms weren't disclosed.

Though the case was run-of-the-mill, a joint statement from the companies hints at further collaboration.

"This settlement reflects the growing collaborative dialogue between our two companies on important opportunities, and we look forward to working more closely together."
