If I was interested in mozying with the herds, I'd have become a cowboy. I tend to be a bit more aggressive. When I went into Geron I was a neophyte. I bought a little bit 4.75 and it went down down down. I loaded up more at low cost and began studying the stock. As Imetelstat emerged as the potential "one hit wonder", I began assessing risk proportionally to my investment. Anyone paying close attention to the range had a good hint that something big on the downside was coming. I sold 3k shares just before the 3.00 tumble and bought back 4500 just after. I 'm even today.

I am a serious if irreverent investor and can only assume that many also saw this coming - whether by achy bones or insider info. WHatever the case, some whiny ass law firm wants me to join a class action suit against Geron, or as I would call it - shoot at my foot to see if my marksmanship has improved.

Don't let these opportunisitic shysters get to you. If you are dumb enough to invest in a longshot without assessing your risk, crying to a figurative mommy in a $2000 suit is no better than suing the city because the bus driver could have avoided running over the smartphone you accidentally dropped within his field of vision.

On it's way to possibly becoming a $100 per share stock in 4 -10 years or dropping to a fractional of a cent dead horse, Geron = risk like the heavy drinker playing blackjack in Vegas with a bar tab. So while badmouthing Geron might help some people feel like they were misled, I can only say that if Geron goes through the roof I will enjoy every cent of my ROI better than those people enjoy who receive compensation or "Oh Hell - We Tried" for their trouble.

This does not mean I won't lose my butt, but I will not leave the ring without a good fight, and I will blame myself if I lose. Meanwhile I am getting an education that will eventually make me a winner in anothe highh stakes play. God - I love it when grownups invest their lives and souls into fighting dread disease. If I make a bundle, it means mommies, daddies, and kiddies will be living examples of the good works of companies and the people who fund them.
