SEC, DOJ probing Och-Ziff over Libya activities

Och-Ziff (OZM) is under investigation over its activities in Libya before the ouster of Muammar Gaddafi, with the company warning that the probe could hurt its results.

The SEC is looking at whether the hedge fund made inappropriate payments to officials for access to the Libyan Investment Authority sovereign wealth fund, while the Department of Justice is scrutinizing the firm's use of "placement agents" to make deals. (10-K)
