  • Asian shares follow Wall Street lower after Janet Yellen indicated that the Fed could raise interest rates "around six months" after it fully winds down QE. That could mean a hike in April next year, much earlier than expectations for late 2015.
  • Indonesia's IDX Composite led the losses with a fall of 2.5%. The country's markets were among those that suffered from the Fed's initial tapering announcements a few months back.
  • Japan -1.6%, Hong Kong -1.7%, China -1.4%, India -0.1%.
