Mesa Air grounds Go!

Mesa Air will stop running a low-fare carrier in Hawaii in order to focus on its mainland U.S. operations.

Go! airline, a puddle-jumper between the Hawaiian islands, isn't deriving enough profits for Mesa.

Mesa Air is a private company after emerging from bankruptcy a couple of years ago.

Is the Go! move some window-dressing to make the company more attractive as a buyout candidate?
