Las Vegas to allow pot dispensaries

Officials in Las Vegas and Clark County vote to allow marijuana dispensaries. A similar vote by the Las Vegas council would make it the second area city to authorize pot sales.

AVT (AVTC) and Medbox (MDBX) have a keen interest in the situation.

Vegas would rather have alcoholics gambling than potheads standing in a buffet line. I don't think casino's are gonna be in favor of this and you know who the casinos own (the people who vote).

As a former ER physician... one who has lobbied for the legalization of medical marijuana for over 45 years, I can assure you fellows out there that marijuana is NOT a drug nor is it is an herb. Ask any Indian that smokes the "peace pipe"...This country has been brain-washed by legal beagles, politicians, etc....with false information for years... Shameful! It is nowhere as dangerous to your health as is drinking alcohol products. (LOL)
