Forecast for Hyundai Sonata sales falls below estimates

  • Hyundai (HYMLF) forecasts it will sell 228K new Sonatas vehicles this year - a mark which is below the 245K units that analysts predicted.
  • The automaker sees seeing 63K Sonatas in South Korea.
  • The Sonata faces stiff competition in the U.S. from the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord.

 Nothing a "check for pulse" credit check can't fix. 27% of US Auto sales last year were subprime. I like the story of the woman in Houston, walked onto dealers lot with a 500 FICO score and drove off with a brand new dodge dart. Now if they lower driving age to 12, they could really get things going
