Futures higher after big gains in Asia overnight

Stock index futures are up about 0.2%, ignoring a moderate decline in Europe and instead following the lead of gains across the board in Asia, led by big advances in Hong Kong and Japan.

Flash PMIs hit the tape in China and Europe and both show slowing economic activity.

The 10-year Treasury yield is up two basis points to 2.77% and gold continues its big post-FOMC slide, down 1% to $1,323 per ounce.
