- Rambus (NASDAQ:RMBS +0.8%) and Taiwanese DRAM maker Nanya have settled their outstanding legal claims, and agreed to a licensing deal good through Q2 2018. Deal terms are confidential.
- Nanya is the world's 4th-largest DRAM manufacturer, but its market share is well below that of top-3 vendors Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron. Rambus reached a $280M/7-year settlement with Micron last December, and a $240M/5-year settlement with SK Hynix last June.
