- Infosys (INFY -1%) India division chief Chandrashekhar Kakal has resigned. ZDNet observes Rakal is the 9th senior exec to leave the IT outsourcing giant since co-founder Narayana Murthy returned as chairman last June.
- Other departures include global manufacturing/Americas chief Ashok Vemuri, and outsourcing head V. Balakrishnan.
- Though analysts are worried about the departures, Murthy doesn't seem concerned. "Barring exceptions—I have to mention that because there were a couple of good people—the rest of the people who had to leave unfortunately were people who were drawing very high salary and unfortunately we were not getting value from them."
