- Tessera (TSRA +1.2%) has struck a deal with Qualcomm (QCOM) to dismiss its suit against the mobile chip giant. As part of the deal, the companies will "explore potential technical collaborations concerning camera functionality and imaging performance of mobile devices."
- In January, Tessera's DigitalOptics (DOC) unit announced plans to cease manufacturing operations. But the company is still looking to monetize DOC's technologies, including its MEMS auto-focus and image-processing tech, within the smartphone camera market.
