Google chairman's pay more than doubles

Eric Schmidt's compensation more than doubled to $19.3M in 2013, with the Google chairman receiving a $1.25M salary and a $6M bonus. Schmidt also received $11.4M in stock to correct an error in the issuance of a 2011 award. In February, Schmidt received $100M in equity that will vest over four years.

However, the pay of Chief Business Officer Nikesh Arora, CFO Patrick Pichette and Chief Legal Officer David Drummond fell sharply, as Google usually only gives option awards and non-equity incentive plans to senior management in even-numbered years.
