More buybacks could be on tap at Comcast

Comcast (CMCSA) is evaluating adding $2.5B in buybacks to its current repurchase plan, according to CFO Michael Angelakis.

The company's current buyback allotment is $3B.

The exec says a planned sales of assets could leave enough money for the company to buy back more even shares even after it coughs up the cash to purchase Time Warner Cable.
