New recall action from GM

General Motors (GM) will recall 1.3M additional vehicles to address an issue with power steering, according to reports.

Some older Chevrolet Malibu, Chevrolet Cobalt, Saturn Aura, and Pontiac G6 vehicles are included in the total.

GM expects to take a charge of close to $750M in Q1 to cover many of the costs of recall repairs. The tally includes a previously disclosed $300M charge for other safety actions announced in March and the ignition switch recall.

To-day another day towards the road to bankruptcy?

Previously I referred to GM's "problems" as a can of worms.

The tsunami of bad news include more models, different parts + additional "surprises".

Even a $20 GM appears wildly overpriced.
