Ballard Power says first Ballard-powered buses delivered for Scotland project

Ballard Power (BLDP +9.2%) opens higher, apparently from yesterday's news that Van Hool, Europe's fourth largest bus manufacturer, delivered the first four buses powered by BLDP’s 150 KW FCvelocity-HD6 fuel cell module.

BLDP says the remaining six buses of a 10-bus fleet will be delivered to transit agencies in Aberdeen, Scotland, in the coming weeks.

BLDP says Arrival of the first buses signals a significant step forward in Aberdeen's large-scale bus demonstration program, which aims to drive hydrogen technology development and deployment.

Aberdeen today, Hamburg a few weeks back, China before that.

Just how many cities might come knocking on Ballard's door in the year(s) ahead?

Better question may be how many might not?!

Any news with HFC is going to make shorts lose money. Things are going to ramp up from here with the IPCC report on climate change.
