UniPixel settles patent suit with CIT

  • U.K.-based CIT has agreed to withdraw U.K. claims stating UniPixel (UNXL -0.5%) used CIT's confidential info for unauthorized purposes, and has agreed to "release any current and future claims to Uni-Pixel's past and current technology, patents, and other property based on the subject matter of the suits."
  • UniPixel, in turn, has agreed to withdraw U.S. claims stating CIT breached an agreement between the companies by filing suit in the U.K., and has "agreed to grant CIT certain limited rights to use technology that would be protected by the patents arising from the disputed patent filings."
  • No money is changing hands. Concerns had previously been voiced about the potential impact of UniPixel's legal battle with CIT.

The shorts have even less ammo to twist now, as all figured all along. Nice of UNXL to drop their US suit against CIT. ;)

This has been a headache for a while. Does clearing the air mean that UNXL finally head north?

UNXL's headache has been its inability to have a relevant product that people want not these lawsuits.

The red flag for me during the Webinar about their 4th qtr. 2013 was the CTO saying that they are trying to come up with an appropriate substrate-ink match. What have they been doing for the last two years? Substrate-ink matching is the KEY to their process and product. It should not have become an after thought once the production equipment has been installed and orders (small as they are to date) were accepted!

Keep on trying to bash & stretch it still John. As per the CC, you know that they just got equip. & testers in within the last several months/weeks(not years) and are only working on perfecting the yields after just being able to know where to adjust all.

The shorts search for various forms ammo is being reduced quickly. CIT over with. Next.

That sounds very positive. I have been a long term believer and would love a pop in this tech.
