Poll: Cruise industry image in decline

• A new Harris poll shows Americans have lowered their opinions about the cruise industry over the last year after a number of highly-publicized mishaps.
• The level of trust in cruise companies dropped 11% in February from a year ago and the percentage of respondents that indicated they were planning to book a cruise fell 13%.
• The cruise industry ranked even lower than the commercial airline industry, despite the high fees that airlines have been passing on to consumers.
