Kimco acquires rest of Kimco Income Fund I

Continuing to simplify and refocus its business, Kimco (KIM) acquires the remaining 60.9% interest in the 12-property Kimco Income Fund I portfolio from its joint venture partners for $408M, including the assumption of $38.2M in mortgage debt.

The properties purchased total 1.5M square feet of retail space in the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, and Northern California.
