Here comes Panera 2.0

Panera Bread (PNRA) says it will introduce tech innovations at some stores which will cut down on wait times and errors with orders.

The rollout of Panera 2.0 gives customers the ability to order through a mobile app or from a table and pick up items at a special kiosk designed to process pick-up orders.

The company expects all stores to have the features by the end of 2015.

What to watch: Long wait times at Panera outlets has held back same-store sales growth, according to analysts. The new ordering feature could increase walk-in, walk-out traffic.
