What to watch for at the New York Auto Show

General Motors (GM) will give a first look at the 2015 Chevrolet Trax at the New York International Auto Show. The smaller-sized SUV model is similar to the Buick Encore which has sold better than expected in the U.S.

Land Rover (TTM) plans to debut a new line of SUVs under the Discovery brand name. The automaker sees the brand as its high-volume family division.

Ford (F) will bring out its limited edition Mustang GT on the 50th anniversary of the model's introduction. The automaker has been using the Mustang as a brand builder in global markets.

Audi (VLKAY) is hoping to make a splash with an A3 Sportback which utilizes turbo diesel technology. Automobile analysts think TDI will be a major buzzword at this year's show.

Chevy "Trax"? Like in cover your Trax and conceal lethal defects in your deadly designed cars for over a decade?

Not surprised at your immature comments funfun. I will keep driving my Silverado with 338,000 miles on it because I can feel safe driving it for another 300,000 miles.

Never equate net worth with the kind of car someone drives. There are plenty of people driving Mercs and BMWs who will never get out of the financial hole they're in.

funfun adds nothing to the conversation - just rants - he should be banned from SA. I assume he's driven by political ideology.

GM has a very good risk/reward and I expect the shares to be in the $40s by year end.

Snoopy1,I agree I think it could reach the $40s by years end, from what I have read on SA and other sites. As far as funfun goes ,he should just get lost and take Budavar with him.All they do is clutter up the comment section with their silly, negative comments,I have seen them on other sites as well.

The 50th anniversary Mustang should do the trick for Ford.
