Total exec sees no impact to Russian operations from Ukraine tensions

Total's (TOT +0.2%) head of E&P Yves-Louis Darricarrere says tensions over Ukraine are unlikely to have any direct impact on the company's Russian operations, and forecasts the country becoming the largest contributor to TOT's production by 2020.

TOT's investments in Russia and countries of the CIS are "fully integrated in long-term partnerships," Darricarrere says.

Also, TOT sees no production this year and only scant output next year from the Kashagan oil project in Kazakhstan, which was indefinitely halted in October due to leaking pipes.
