Williams natural gas plant still burning two days after explosion

Williams Co.'s (WMB, WPZ) natural gas processing plant in Wyoming continues to burn, two days after an explosion disrupted supplies at the key Rockies hub.

Pipelines that supply the facility and those that move processed natural gas and natural gas liquids away from the plant remain shut, interrupting nearly 1B cf/day of output, or ~25% of daily supply at the plant.

The hub moves 4B-5B cf/day of natural gas at this time of year, mostly to Western states.
