Stocks look to start week on the upside

Stock index futures are all ahead 0.25% ahead of another busy weak of earnings, with Europe up about 0.5% amid M&A excitement - AstraZeneca is up 15% after Pfizer confirms its interest in buying the company for about $100B.

Asia was lower overnight as it responded to the big decline in the West on Friday. Shanghai led on the downside, -1.7%.

The 10-year Treasury yield is up one basis point at 2.68%, and gold is flat at $1,301 per ounce.
