Toyota to restructure in California

Toyota (TM) says it will restructure its marketing operations in California in order to improve efficiency.

The automaker has 5K employees working in the state.

What to watch: The initiative could be a sign that Toyota is considering moving U.S. operations to a state where taxes and labor costs are lower.

That fun in the sun will only keep you there so long. Margins are too thin in this very competitive industry to not explore cost cutting moves, if so, savings are many quarters in the future so no excitement. Many more will follow if the pols. there keep using taxes on business to support their re-election.
    Any land left in Texas??
