Williams suspends capital investments In Bluegrass Pipeline project

Williams Cos. (WMB) says it is suspending capital investments in the proposed Bluegrass Pipeline natural gas liquids project due to a lack of firm customer commitments.

The project, in which WMB is a joint venture partner with Boardwalk Pipeline Partners (BWP), is designed to connect NGLs produced in the Marcellus-Utica areas in the U.S. northeast with domestic and export markets on the U.S. Gulf coast.

WMB says it continues in talks with potential customers on the scale and timing of demand for services that could support any future capital investments.
