What's going on at the Carlyle Group? It will take me some time to digest the financials, but does it ever bode well when a company has increased revenues and less earnings? Higher internal fees less distributable to shareholders. My more serious question is, are these increased expenses necessary for growth or is the store not being watched carefully? Carlyle has proven itself as a major international player at accumulating assets; however are the internal controls in place?
