Futures up a hair as earnings reports pour in; Exxon before the bell

Stock index futures are marginally in the green following the FOMC's as-expected addition to the taper yesterday, and amid a torrent of quarterly earnings reports. Among those coming before the bell is Exxon Mobil.

Europe's marginally lower and Asia saw a 1.3% rise in the Nikkei balanced by about an equal decline in the Hang Seng.

The 10-year Treasury yield is up one basis point at 2.66% and gold is down $10 per ounce to $1,286.
