    S&P 500 1Q total return was 1.8%.

    2.6 isn't bad.

More important are changes in the fundamentals, quality of earnings, &c.

Anybody that reviews Berkshire based on quarterly numbers is really really out-of-their field of competency.

That makes the safety area of BRk b 110,74
Given the problems with the bad weather, if the market reacts lower it could be a nice buying opportunity

The first bullet point is just plain wrong.
The truth is that the analysts overestimated BH quarterly earnings by 1%. Big deal!
As an analyst with over 40 years' experience I still feel the need to explain "my errors cancelled out" (except in the *very* rare cases when I have got every constituent part of my forecast correct) if I get a forecast within 1% of the actual outcome.
