Cadiz +29% after judge rules Mojave Desert water project can move forward

Cadiz (CDZI) +29.1% premarket after a judge late Friday rejected legal challenges filed against the Cadiz Valley Water Conservation, Recovery and Storage Project, a controversial plan to mine water from a Mojave Desert aquifer and pipe it to cities across southern California.

The proposal to pump more than 16B gallons of water from beneath the remote valley was challenged by several environmental groups.
