LeapFrog flies despite sales slide

LeapFrog (LF +7.9%) trades higher after beating estimates with its Q1 report.

The company called the quarter an "exceptionally tough" period due to the retail atmosphere.

Sales were off 31% compared to a year ago when the LeapFrog had brisker demand for its products.

During the firm's earnings call (transcript), execs pitched the case that sales will be back-end loaded this year.
