Bill Barrett +5.9% as it adds another string of upgrades

Bill Barrett (BBG +5.9%) continues its strong run this week, as Mizuho is the latest firm to upgrade shares.

In lifting shares to Buy from Neutral, the firm believes BBG's Q1 earnings miss looks driven by issues specific to the quarter, and it expects to see production and costs improve through the balance of 2014; results in the DJ are encouraging, BBG is committing more effort to the Uinta, and recent third-party PRB deals imply upside to assets BBG has on the block.

Wells Fargo also upgrades BBG, to Outperform from Market Perform. and Stifel raised shares to Buy yesterday.
