Report: Gannett looking at joint bid for Cars.com


Gannett (GCI +0.1%) is interested in partnering with P-E firms in a bid to acquire Cars.com, according to Reuters.

A deal price of close to $3B is being discussed.

Earlier this year, Cox Enterprises and Apax Partners were reported to be in the hunt for Cars.com.
