Groupon (GRPN) has acquired Uptake, a provider of personalized travel information services, says AllThingsD. The focus of the acquisition, which reportedly had a price tag in the "tens of millions," appears to be on acquiring engineering talent, though it's possible Uptake's technology could be integrated with Groupon's Getaways product. Groupon has bought several startups (I, II) since going public.

    Good for GRPN.

     

    As anticipated GRPN bounce close to finally making it 19.39 19.35 last week. Today on testing IPO 20.50 to finally close at 19.87 but leaving even more chances to regain the 20, price of IPO and further progress over 20 to see if now if in the next quarter has GRPN a profit
