Since they're based IN Arkansas there's the old line: What's the State motto? "Thank God for Mississippi so someone else will have lower SAT scores". In this case, thank God for share buybacks so ~$6 mil lower NI can still get a higher EPS. (Problem too that now those share accretions cost more as the buyback firepower decline with the share price. The ROI on the buybacks is the reciprocal of the P/E.)
(BTW, I LIKE Arkansas and always thought that old saw was more deserving of some OTHER Southern STATE's name. So Don't blame me - I didn't start, or like that State choice as Arkansas has more going for it than many neighboring States.)

Now, odd how rev's were light and still a +2% comp rise. (Rounding? Omissions - e.g. not counting clearance store. Me wonders.)

Well may be value to some.., but I like rising top and bottom lines - more than only by EPS w/ lower shs. I'll give you if that gets it it gets it. Just not for me.
