American Airlines to add flights to China

American Airlines (AAL -0.5%) will start nonstop service to Shanghai and Hong Kong from DFW airport next month.

The carrier has been flying to China since 2006 through Chicago and L.A.

The China business travel route is one of higher-margin categories in the business.

Shares of AAL are up 54% since their debut in December with American gaining some significant efficiency out of bankruptcy.

This was one of nicest things that happened, after I took a risk on AAMRQ in early December 2013.
    I am long AAL.
