World shares drift


Global equities are mixed as shares in Japan and China rise, but fall in Germany, France and the U.K.

The Shanghai composite ends +0.15% after the government says it will limit the number of IPOs this year in a move that reduces liquidity fears for existing stocks.

The Nikkei closes +0.5% to end a four-day losing streak.

Elsewhere in Asia, Hong Kong +0.6%, India +0.2%.

Euro Stoxx 600 -0.1%, London -0.5%, Paris -0.4%, Frankfurt -0.2%, Milan flat, Madrid +0.2%.

U.S. stock futures: Dow flat. S&P -0.1%. Nasdaq -0.1%
