DragonWave +6.3% on deal with Indian carrier

DragonWave (DRWI) has finalized a framework agreement with an unnamed Indian carrier to provide several thousand Horizon Compact+ RF backhaul links in support of the carrier's planned 4G network.

DragonWave will also provide (through a JV) related services. The company asserts Horizon Compact+'s advanced modulation scheme (2048 QAM) and bulk compression abilities yield unmatched spectral efficiency among backhaul solutions.

Shares sold off last month due to an FQ4 miss, but quickly rebounded. A Chinese reseller deal was announced in January.
