Las Vegas Sands to push Japan PM on casino legislation

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will visit a casino owned by Las Vegas Sands (LVS +0.4%) in Singapore in what analysts are taking as a good sign Abe will support speeding up legislation in the nation to legalize gambling.

Sands CEO Sheldon Adelson says Abe will get the "scripted plea" from the company during his visit.
