RBS (NYSE:RBS) is reportedly close to a preliminary agreement to sell its Asian assets to CIMB Group Holdings, a Malaysian bank. CIMB confirmed earlier this week that it's in talks with RBS. Sources say a memorandum of agreement will be announced soon, with a finalized deal still several weeks away.
