Markit expects IPO pricing at $23-$25 per share

The London-based financial data and services provider is planning on selling 45.7M shares in a U.S. listing, with underwriters granted a greenshoe option for another 6.9M shares. It will trade on the Nasdaq under the symbol MRKT.

Founded in 2003 to provide prices in the opaque world of credit derivatives, Markit had nearly $1B in revenue last year.
