Is it a pop and drop? That's the question.

All CNBC has done all morning is talk about bitcoin, lol.

    Not one mention of gold.

Gold due for bounce out of this triangle. See if it holds. $1,255.80 as I type.

That's right - Gold and silver priced in Euro's and Swiss francs has popped up nicely.

I bought some NUGT again to hedge my longer term puts. See if we can get gold past the high of the day.

Wait til the fall and Fed has to reverse course on the taper. Walmart is a very good measure of the economy. There earnings tell you how the economy is doing. The PMI is a sham. You can manufacture and produce all you want, but people are not buying unless its on sale so the bottom line is profits are not growing. Without all the tweaking and fluffing up the numbers the GDP actuallt contracted -3% in Q1.

Agree that those who expect to see 4% growth in Q2 and beyond are smoking things that are affecting their perception of reality.

Gold is the Superinvestment that can leap tall piles of sovereign debt in a single bound.

Oops! Gold dropped then popped. EURUSD drops to 1.35 and bounces 1.365 (now at 1.3635 after retracing to flat 1.361). ECB docs showed forecasted neutral rate at 1.38?! Clearly Draghi disappoints.

SA needed to wait for Draghi to talk for the disappointment to set in and let prices go up!

Yeah! I think it will go for a while (maybe to ECB's 1.38 -- is my current target) and it will go against the stronger USD short term.

    Hmmm

What amazing timing of this article. Literally minutes before gold jumps $10. Or was it after? A gap which has held throughout the day. You don't suppose this article was posted with the primary intention of helping keep a lid on prices. I mean every little bit helps........Of course I am sure this is not the case. After all that would be dishonest.
