Late-week break higher from Keurig Green Mountain

Keurig Green Mountain (GMCR +3.3%) break higher in afternoon trading to climb back over $116.

Shares of GMCR have been swapping hands in a narrow band since Coca-Cola raised its stake in the company to 16%.

Today's action is a momentum move not based on news, according to some traders.

    As a product designer, I bought their machine and was very impressed with the delicious coffee it made.
    Had a look inside, and wow, it's more complex than $6000 medical devices I have worked on.
    The consumer is getting terrific value on that $90 coffee maker, I guess the consumables pay for it eventually.

    Believe the news was Coca Cola increasing their stake to become largest shareholder.
    And I really like the Keurig coffee maker and Green Mountain coffee.
    Coke smart to prepare for the decrease to continue in soft drinks with carrying
    around the heavy bottle and cans. I cheer that trend because of less land fill,
    since most don't recycle.
    I sold half my stake in GMCR for good gain, but am keeping the rest.
