SABMiller looking towards premium beer

SABMiller (SBMRY) is seeking a bigger share of the U.S. craft beer market. While one-third of beer volumes sold in the U.S. is premium beer, the category is only 8% of the company's sales.

"We’ve got to shift our portfolio to premium. That’s clearly a priority that the team now understands and are working on it,” CEO Alan Clark says.

The company is already doing well with many of its new brands, contributing to 25% of last year's growth in the U.S. craft industry.
