Boyd Gaming settles with Atlantic City over tax credits

Boyd Gaming (BYD +4.9%) trades higher after the company reaches a settlement with the city of Atlantic City over tax credits.

The company will receive a tax refund of $88.25M for tax years 2011-2013 and a credit of $17.85M for this year.

    Hope this doesn't cause an Atlantic City default. These funds must surely be used to fund the police, fire and schools. One by one all the big cities are failing. Sure to be appealed but great news for BYD stock.
