Mortgage rates tick higher, Freddie Mac says

The average rate for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage rose to 4.20% for the week ending June 12, up from last week when the rate averaged 4.14%, according to Freddie Mac's latest survey.

The 15-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 3.31% in the latest week from 3.23% in the prior week.

A year ago, the respective 30- and 15-year fixed rates averaged 3.9*% and 3.10%.
